Pink Dreams Are Made of These for NYFW SS16
The many shades of pink mixed with black to blues. Pink is such a flattering color. I love that these designers chose to combine it with interesting styles and colors. Today Fairytales of Fashion takes us to land far away were women cavort and play in beautiful dresses and gowns. Whether they go out on the town or to a ball they swoop in with grace that is first and for all.
Carolina Herrera choose a strong shocking pink color for a dress that has a bit of casualness to a formal gown. I love the trompe l'oeil effect on the front. The sleeveless tank top look is very fresh.
DelPozo combined two beautiful colors into one dress for a take your breath away style. The dark sea aqua color in the skirt with a fluid sheerness is stunning. The top in a shirt style with a light lavender color with large pink flowers on front is oh so faerie.
DVF choose to go back to Diane's hey day during 1970s Studio 54 looks and create fun modern sexy wrap dress with a new color print blocking scheme. The little ruffles on the skirt edge and 3/4 length sleeves add a nice touch.
Oscar de la Renta's new directior Peter Copping is carrying on in great Oscar style for SS16. The light rich pink T length dress is wonderful. The black lace halter effect is magnificient.
Rodarte oh Rodarte how I love your designs. This fair maiden look with a blush pink on sleeves and under black lace skirt dress is simply amazing. The black lace hose with the maryjanes are spot on. I love the romantic sleeves and top treatment.
So ladies for SS16 think pink with colors.
