Fairytale Fluidity Femme Frolic for SS16 from NYFW

NYFW for SS16 is underway.  Designers are sending out an array of designs of a Fairytale nature shall we say.  Dreamy floral prints and peasant style tops and skirts.  It seems a fluid romantic but modern silhouette is what is on par for Spring Summer 2016.

Whether you are a regal lady or a fae from the woodland you will have plenty to adorn your body with for Spring Summer 2016.  These faves are lovely for their silk fabric and color filled style.

Betsey Johnson for her 50th year in fashion she took us back and forward.  I love this key Betsey Girl look.  Button front floral rocker dress with crinoline.
Creatures of the Wind sent out a 90s vibe with a fairytale modern look.  The sort of abstract floral print in washed out colors is bold with pops of color at top in floral appliques.
Elie Tahari choose a casual georgette dress with dark light floral small print dress.  The sheer sleeves and hem that is uneven gives an edge to a soft look.
Erin Fetherston sent out a peasant skirt with soft top in a beautiful blue color.  Again a chiffon look that is romantic casual elegance.
Jill Stuart created this dress with fair maiden in mind.  The layers down the body give such a nice flow.
Tadashi Shoji presented a stunning line.  This formal dress is so beautiful with a black white floral top that overlays a white geometric skirt.  Love how the top has a mandarin collar and ties at the waist leisurely.  This is such a forward of the now look.
Tanya Taylor gave us color bold and bright.  Peasant silhouette a bit of southwest Mexican appeal but in an Asian inspired floral print.  I love how the floral is not overwhelming but scattered to enhance the blue background.  Nice layer at the skirt from waist to hem in a side style.
Tracy Reese is superb with color.  This bright pink stands out in a strong way and the fluidity of the frock gives it a soft surprise.
Zang Toi sent out a line that was strong and rich.  This obi style waist dress is magnificent.  Black satin with a white lace middle in a very forward style is strikingly seductive.

So for SS16 a strong romance is in the air.  Wear it like you just don't care.
