A Fantasia of Fairytales of Fashion from Paris for Spring Summer 2016

Rich vibrant color is key for Spring Summer 2016.  Their is no longer a fair maiden but a power packed passion filled vibe for the romantic creative side of design.  These designers to body skimming to a retro bohemian and uptown realm.

Manish Arora has a rare kaleidoscope of vision that matches the depth of the sensuousness of this dress.  The butterfly motif with the rich colors a bit of Poiret is breath taking.  I love the idea of taking the Fairytale Fantasy and putting into a funky fashion maven form.  The tomato red pops out on the skirt and floral rimmed black hem creates a lush garden of style delight.  I always love sexy socks with platforms and this pink with the gold platform rocks.  The sheer puff long sleeves with gold flecks creates a magical look.  The high collar somehow works.

Olympia Le Tan always tells a story with her collections.  This one is a bit Asian Inspired.  Love the mid century modish pink print top.  the gathered a line skirt with the Geisha inspired waist treatment is stunning and fun.  The tomato red tights contrast in a lively way with the funky tie platforms.

Shiatzy Chen wowed me with this copper color dress.  1930s silhouettes are my fave retro looks and this dress does it oh so well.  The floral print bright fabric make for fresh modern look.  The cape sleeve top was very popular during the Golden Hollywood Years in the 1930s.  The blue closed toed shoes add a nice pop of color to the color.

Valentino was rich on deep colors and fabrics with nail head details.  This drop waist dress is smashing.  The color blocking detail in the skirt front adds a bohemian look.  Love the top is a bit blouse with a simple collar that clasps in the middle.  The frayed fringe ends really give it a rebellious feel.

Color is always keep and I am so glad Paris choose rich instead of pale.  In the fairytale of fashion realm more is more and creativity is beautiful
